Automatic Environmental Gas Monitor (AEGM)

Automatic Environmental Gas monitor (AEGM) was designed and manufactured by the experts of Engineering Research Center of Isfahan for detecting toxic gases in industrial environments.
AEGM operates on the basis of " Ion Mobility Spectrometry " (IMS), a well-established technique applied in the state of the art detectors. The air is drawn into the sensor, ionized and the existence of a given level of a toxic hazard is identified by a built- in microcomputer and shown on an LED display.
It is an automatic alarm-system, which continually monitors the ambient air to provide audible and visual warnings of the presence of toxic gases. The high sensitivity of the equipment keeps you in touch with the safety level of environment.
The Programmable computer system of the unit allows the identification of new gases. It is possible to interconnect several units via a central computer. In this case the operator can control a very large area and report the contaminated regions.
In addition to the above application, this unit can be modified to be used for detecting explosives and drugs of abuse.
